Here are the steps to apply for study permit in Canada

First Step  (Applying to your chosen College/University)

  • Choosing College/ University. 
  • Writing SOP.
  • Paying Application Fee. 
  • Things required:
    • Submit all Academic Documents  (Listed at the End)
    • Passport Copy 
    • IELTS Score 
    • If Gap, need Job letter 
    • Resume 

 

Second Step (Waiting for Offer Letter)   

  • Offer Letter Issued from College/ University. 

 

Third Step (Accepting the Offer Letter)

  • No Objection Letter from Ministry of Education 
    • All Original Academic Documents.
    • Equivalent Certificate from TU.
    • Passport, Citizenship.
    • NRP. 2000 charge by Ministry of Education.
  • Pay Partial Tuition Fee/ Acceptance Letter /  Seat Confirmation

 

Fourth Step (Visa Application)

Financial

  • Bank balance  ( Minimum 30 Lakhs  (A class bank )

                            OR

  • Education Loan (Minimum 30 Lakhs )
      • Bank in the name of applicant as well as sponsor (Joint Account)
  • Payment of one year of Tuition to Canadian University/Colleges 
  • PAN - Personal or Business is needed
  • Income Documents (Min. 20 Lakhs NPR) 
    • Salary (Job letter , Bank Statement * , Pay Slip *)
    • House Rent (Agreement Paper) 
    • Business : ( PAN, Company Certificate, Tax Clearance Letter and Audit Report )
  • Property Valuation ( NPR 1 Crore above  valuation from Municipality or Engineer) 
    • Land Ownership Certificate 
       

Personal Things:

  • Relationship Certificate 

o  Certificate all sponsor and applicants

  • Marriage Certificate ( If applicant is Married) 
  • Photo -2 Pieces  35 mm x 45 mm

o Image should be recent (not older than 6 months)

  • Police Certificate 
     

Additional:

  • Statement of Purpose 
  • Resume 
  • Sponsorship Letter (Affidavit Support)
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) Evaluation report  (for Business)
  • Bank draft for Canadian High Commission:  CAN $ 150

  • Academic documents : 
    • SLC/SEE – Marksheet, Character , Provisional Certificate 
    • 10+2 – Transcript , Character, Migration , Provisional 
    • Bachelor’s – Transcript , Character , Provisional 
    • Master’s – Transcript , Character, Provisional
    • College Recommendation Letter : Last Graduated School/College – 2 
    • IELTS Certificate
    • Working Letter  (If gap is more than 6 months)

 

  • Passport Note:
    • Whole Page Notary (Color) 
  • All documents in Nepali must be translated to English.
  • All Academic Certificate/ Documents must be photocopied and notarized by authorized notary office.

 

Fifth Step  (Grant from CHC)

 Get the Grant Notification from Canadian High Commission 

 

Sixth Step (Going to Canada)

Make a Travel Plan  to Canada
